Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Bethany Lola Loud and Clear Reviews Latency manages to succeed in creating a daunting thriller, which is not only enjoyable but unpredictable. If you’re looking for something intense but not too scary, Latency is the ideal watch. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 4, 2024 Full Review Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Carla Hay Culture Mix Latency takes a potentially solid idea for a thriller (a virtual reality gamer begins to lose her sanity) and makes it an incoherent, boring mess. It's hard to take this psychological movie seriously when it's so stupid. The acting is also horrendous. Jul 21, 2024 Full Review Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Bee Delores B-Sides & Badlands While the style and tone evoke real vision, the film arrives as lifeless and cold. Rated: 2/5 Jul 9, 2024 Full Review Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Emilie Black Cinema Crazed The film is decent, but it’s missing something, it straddles the line between good and bland and the uncut or R-rated cut may very well fix this, but who knows if we’ll ever see it. Rated: 3/5 Jun 19, 2024 Full Review Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Ayeen Forootan In Review Online Latency, if not entirely original in style or flawless in its crowd-pleasing, is an imaginative, trippy, and modest indie that resists aesthetic overindulgence or perplexing rhetorical angles. Jun 17, 2024 Full Review Latency | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Writer/director James Croke gets big points for making Latency feel like it has everything it needs despite a very small cast and limited settings. kunu Latency was memorable and unique. I really enjoyed the visual fx and the sound effects work and the lead actress really carried the film. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Kyle M Self-destructive concept intangibly told then null-voided, with messages to get out more and don’t frolic with advancing technology too much. (C-) Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review US Windows & B Quite possibly the worst movie ever made, not at all what the trailer showed, an hour and a half i can never get back. So confusing not worth the watch. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Cougar F Honestly I don't understand why the low grade for this movie. I've been a gamer all of my life and battled with depression and anxiety myself at times. The plot could have been a bit more chained and at times you can't really tell if she's experiencing reality or just what the device shows her, but it gets the job done and it lets you decide and think for yourself and I think that's the point. Personally I think the score is way to low and the movie is underrated. For its budget and limited sets, it really puts a good vibe to it and you feel the thrill at times. The two girls were very good and their relationship dynamic was awesome. Good movie from my point of view, worth checking out, and leave the other bad reviews to other people, check it out for yourself and make up your own mind. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Steven N Good premise, good acting. Liked it in the start before it took a dark turn. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review Read all reviews
